The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support for the Senior Managers of Loss Prevention, Security, AP Analytics and Financial Crimes as well as their departments and any needs therein. Tasks include but are not limited to:
Record and database maintenance
Scheduling and calendar management
Processing payroll
Internal and external written communications
Report creation
Coordination with other administrative assistants within the Asset Protection business area.
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or its equivalent
1 year experience performing administrative duties
Knowledge of office equipment
Ability and willingness to demonstrate eagerness, enthusiasm, optimism, and passion when working
Ability and willingness to adjust one’s style or approach in response to differing circumstances or to work in ambiguous situations
Ability to self-direct work activities and take action on tasks without direction from a supervisor
Ability to set priorities, plan and coordinate work activities, schedule staff, and obtain and manage resources
Ability to manage time so that the priority of the activities determines the timing and amount of attention they receive
Ability to perform arithmetic computations

Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s degree in any field
3 years’ experience performing administrative duties or
1 year experience working at Publix performing administrative duties
Knowledge of office and administrative procedures
Knowledge of department organizational structure
Knowledge of complaint processes
Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access

Year End Bonus
To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
