Summary

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain machine in good operational order.
• Keep machine free of jams and maintain production flow.
• Make changes based on production needs.
• Maintain basic equipment conditions such as cleaning, lubricating, inspecting, and maintain proper alignment.
• Minor repairs as needed.
• Cross train ho help on all machines in the area (baader, gainco, sensor x, marel classifier, grasselli) as needed.
• Work with process tech's and multi-craft techs to ensure that all machienes are working at best case scenario.

Minimum Education

• High School or equivalent not required but preferred.

Experience Requirements

• External: 6-12 months minimum related experience. Reading, writing and analytical skills are required. Must have all personal tools at all times and be able to use and operate hand tools and industrial shop equipment.
• Internal: 6-12 months minimum related experience. Reading, writing and analytical skills are required. Must have all personal tools at all times and be able to use and operate hand tools and industrial shop equipment. Minimum of 6 months in current position, 2 occurrences or less, no active disciplinaries.

Experience Preferred

• Experience in poultry processing/manufacturing environment preferred.
