MASH Direct, based on a working farm close to Comber are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Yard Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of our yard and public outside area. This role involves a variety of tasks including maintaining outside areas and walkways, clear, clean and organised. The successful applicant will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety.
Duties

• Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the yard area, ensuring it is free from hazards.
• Maintaining lawns and green areas, planting and weeding of flowerbeds, hedge strimming.
• Keeping walkways, car parks free of litter
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or yard environment is preferred
• Proficiency in operating forklifts; certification is an advantage.
• Knowledge and experience of operating garden equipment including strimmer's and mowers
• Ability to perform manual handling and lifting duties
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
• A proactive attitude towards safety and teamwork is essential for success in this role

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £11.44 per hour
