Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Yard Supervisor to oversee operations at our flagship Leeds Bradford branch, which includes both the branch main yard and warehouse, as well as our new National Distribution Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to play a crucial role in our expanding operations.
Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise Yard Operations: Supervise and coordinate daily activities in both the branch main yard and warehouse, and the National Distribution Centre.
- Delegating Tasks: Lead and motivate a team of yard operatives to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Teamwork: Assisting with loading and unloading of vehicles and assisting the team with picking customer orders and working towards delivery deadlines.
- Health and Safety: To ensure that the workplace is presentable and free of clutter enhancing customer perceptions of JDP and ensure Health & Safety standards.
- Customer Service: Maintain high standards of customer service.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills and customer service skills
- A hardworking & helpful individual to train in all aspects of our operation
- An understanding of Health & Safety in a work environment
- Experience in a yard/warehouse environment
