Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor on a full time basis to help oversee the daily operations of our busy restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner meals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences and customer service. You will be responsible for delegating duties amongst staff, ensuring good safety standards, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to quality standards.
Lead and motivate the team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and excellence.
Assist in training new staff members with food service procedures and customer service practices.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
Implement health and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment for all employees.
Skills
Proven experience in supervising restaurant staff, with strong team management abilities.
Knowledge of restaurant operations, including legislation and standards.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the hospitality industry.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff and customers alike.
Experience in bartending is an advantage but not essential.
