We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused Restaurant Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Yardbird.
Reporting into the General Manager and Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for:
Overseeing day-to-day service operations of the restaurant on shift
“Hosting” and waitressing shifts
Supporting the Assistant Manager with training and induction of new restaurant staff
Overseeing restaurant cleanliness and reporting any maintenance concerns to the Assistant Manager/General Manager
Resolving complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction
Enforcing health and safety practices, including sanitation and food hygiene
Ensuring consistent quality standards during service
Overseeing the opening and closing of the premises, including set-up and clean down.
Essential Criteria:
2 years’ experience in a similar busy (table service) restaurant.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Availability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Desirable Criteria:
1 year’s supervisory experience in a similar busy (table service) restaurant
