Full training on understanding Nigerian cuisine will be provided. Responsibilities:
Overseeing daily operations of the restaurant.
Ensuring food quality and customer satisfaction.
Supervising and training staff members.
Maintaining inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
Managing employee schedules and submitting employee hours.
Greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
Ensure that the dining area is clean and presentable.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
Influence menu changes and specials.
Be knowledgeable about the restaurant's menu items and ingredients.
Assist in other areas of the restaurant as needed.
Ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
Hospitality experience.
Previous experience in a restaurant supervisor role is desirable but not essential.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Be organised and proactive.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings
Knowledge or familiarity with West African food and ingredients is a bonus but training will be provided
