The Research Fellow will join the QUB School of Psychology Neuropsychology research/project team. They will be expected to be a productive, ambitious and collaborative member of team, assisting in the development of research proposals and the planning and delivery of the research activity specifically on the topic of neurorehabilitation.
About the person:
The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following essential criteria:
Have or be about to obtain a Ph D in Human Neuroscience or Neuropsychology.
- Recent relevant research experience to include:
- Experience using relevant techniques for measuring the human motor system (eg. TMS,EEG,EMG)
- Undertaking research in Human Motor Neuroscience
- A proven track record of using Matlab and/or Python for analysis of EEG and / or TMS data, critical evaluations, and interpretations of experimental data relevant to the research project
- Working effectively as part of a research team in the development and promotion of the research theme
- Strong publication record commensurate with stage of career.

Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
