Job Title: Patient Pathway Administrator Location: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust Hours: 30 hours Monday to Friday 08:00-14:00 Trust Location: Diabetes Unit, QMC, South Block, C-Floor What you’ll be responsible for: 1. Ensure all patient notes are prepared in line with trust standard guidelines and key performance indicators including current paper records or thin folders that will support DHR requirements. 2. Distributing and opening in-coming mail timely and dealing with appropriately. 3. Use relevant electronic booking systems and arrange transport and translators as necessary. 4. Deal appropriately with enquiries, by telephone and in person, from staff and the general public, seeking advice and referring elsewhere if necessary. 5. Be able to competently use hospital IT systems and departmental digital systems and participate in training programmes to update personal skills to meet the needs of the department. You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust: 1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS 2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times 3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation You’ll have the following skills/experience: · Microsoft Office package knowledge e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel · Communications skills- both verbal and written · Excellent telephone manner · Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload · Previous administrative experience This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.
