Job Title: Receptionist
Location: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust
Hours: 37.5 hours Monday – Friday 09:00-17:00
Trust Location: Centralised Pre-op B50 ward, B Floor, South Block,
Derby Road Nottingham, NG7 2UH
What you’ll be responsible for:
1. Preparing notes for the next day’s clinic.
2. Booking patients in using Careflow.
3. Perform simple outcoming using Careflow, including pre-loaded coding.
4. Update patient details in line with Trust guidance.
5. Using DHR to print patient label.
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
· Experience in a similar role
· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
· Excellent organisation skills
· Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload
· Microsoft package knowledge – Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
· System knowledge
This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.
