Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Host/Host to join our team in providing exceptional hospitality services in a hotel setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for guest services and creating a welcoming environment for all visitors.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements
- Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently
- Provide menus, take orders, and relay them to the kitchen staff
- Ensure tables are set up appropriately and maintain cleanliness in the dining area
- Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests
- Handle phone calls with proper etiquette and professionalism
Skills
- Experience in a hotel or restaurant environment is desirable
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- A helpful and friendly attitude towards guests
- Understanding of hospitality principles and guest satisfaction
- Excellent organisational skills to manage reservations and seating arrangements
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £11.55-£12.55 per hour
