Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your enthusiasm for coffee and customer service will contribute to an exceptional experience for our patrons.
Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
• Assist with food preparation, ensuring that all items are presented beautifully and meet our quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.

Skills

• Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and providing change accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
