Head Barista
Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a vibrant coffee shop environment. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring that all food safety and hygiene standards are met.

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a vibrant coffee shop environment. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring that all food safety and hygiene standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to during food preparation and service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including equipment and utensils.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- A friendly and approachable demeanour with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

- Tips
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
- Barista experience: 1 year (required)
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
