Overall Purpose of the Role Support a range of activities as part of the operations support team Primary function of the role To assist the procurement and planning managers with orange of daily tasks to ensure the smooth running of the operation. The ability of the business to operate successfully is dependent on the availability of the raw materials and packaging as well as ancillary products and it is the role of the procurement team to ensure operations can successfully deliver on a daily basis. Routine tasks: - Raising PO’s according to the plan set out by the procurement manager - Sending PO’s to suppliers once approved - Schedule deliveries and communicate with Operations - Managing suppliers if issues arise with orders e.g. short-delivery, damaged goods upon arrival - Record supplier performance to create metrics - Goods receiving onto the warehouse system - Manage stocks on site in liaison with the warehouse manager and reconcile on the system - Book assemblies - Authorize and print internet orders and shipping labels - Print and co-ordinate shipping to meet sales order details, with transport companies and operational feedback, create documentation and scan delivery notes into the systems Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: £12.20-£15.00 per hour Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week Benefits:
