Training will be an essential component- this will be delivered on a mix of day shift and 2-10, a plan will be agreed Role: Shift Manager : 2-10 shift Industry Food Manufacture & FMCG Position Type Full Time Role Level Experienced- +2 years Role Type Operations Hours 2-10 shift. Monday to Friday Purpose of the Role Lead a team of up to 8 people on a permanent 2-10 shift- after training and induction on a day basis Establish internal process and daily action plans to ensure the shift team achieve planned objectives, reviewing and reconciling the predictable issues that prevent the production plan from being achieved . Key aspects are · Manage and deliver the day plan o Process: 400kg per hour o Packing: Pack at 5-8kg per minute · Product quality o Process- taste, texture, appearance o Apply company standard for documentation o Packing- product weights, date code, appearance, quality of pack and stable pallets · Material availability o Highlight any issues and plan ahead · Documentation o As required by daily and weekly standards to confirm order status and plan completion · Getting the best from the team, coach, develop and progressively challenge the team to deliver their best results every day · Work with the team to rotate skills and build competencies · Problem solving o Solve issues or escalate them · Consistently follow agreed process, o If change could be beneficial, discuss it with the Operations and Factory Managers o If change is agreed also agree an implementation and communications plan Specific Short, Medium and Long term goals will be agreed with the successful candidate Send your CV & tell us how you can contribute, maybe we should have a chat!
