Crane Operator - Construction Experience
The Crane Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating cranes to move heavy loads as required by the project or job site. The operator must have excellent coordination, mechanical knowledge, and a thorough understanding of load capacities, crane operations, and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Cranes: Control various types of cranes (mobile, tower, overhead, etc.) to lift, move, and position loads according to project requirements.
- Load Management: Assess load weights, determine appropriate rigging, and ensure cranes are not overloaded.
- Safety Inspections: Perform daily inspections of cranes, including checking hydraulic systems, cables, pulleys, and safety equipment to ensure everything is in safe working order.
- Equipment Maintenance: Regularly maintain and perform minor repairs on cranes to ensure proper functioning.
- Communication: Collaborate with ground personnel using hand signals, radios, or other methods to ensure clear communication while moving loads.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines, including OSHA standards, and ensure the safety of workers and equipment on site.
- Load Charts: Understand and apply load charts and specifications to avoid overloading or damaging the crane.
- Site Assessment: Evaluate site conditions, including weather and terrain, to determine safe operating practices.
- Documentation: Keep records of crane operations, maintenance, and inspection reports as required.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Licensing/Certification: Crane operator license required in UAE
- Experience: 2+ years of experience operating cranes in construction or industrial environments.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in operating different types of cranes.
- Understanding of rigging techniques and equipment.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read and interpret load charts, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Strong communication skills to work with team members effectively.
License/Certification:
- Crane Operator UAE license (Preferred)
