Accounts Receivable Accountant

We are actively seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivables Executive to become an integral part of our dynamic team in the FMCG wholesale industry. The ideal candidate should possess a robust accounting background, exceptional communication skills, and a proactive approach to effectively manage accounts receivables
Responsibilities:
  • Track payments and perform account reconciliations.
  • Monitor customer credit limits and terms.
  • Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable.
  • Prepare monthly statements for customers.
  • Communicate with customers and vendors regarding billing and payment issues.
  • Implement and maintain an effective collections strategy to minimize overdue accounts.
  • Apply received cheques and receipts promptly and accurately to outstanding invoices.
  • Record and allocate payments in the accounting system.
  • Notify concerned salespersons of any payment delays from customers.
  • Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable aging and key performance indicators.
  • Build and nurture positive relationships with customers.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to accounts receivables.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in accounts receivable functions.
  • Handle customer creation and documentation with verification.
  • Support salespersons in approving credit customer documentations.
  • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Accounts Receivables Executive or in a similar role within the FMCG wholesale industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
