Accounts Receivable Accountant

We are actively seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivables Executive to become an integral part of our dynamic team in the FMCG wholesale industry. The ideal candidate should possess a robust accounting background, exceptional communication skills, and a proactive approach to effectively manage accounts receivables

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month

We are actively seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivables Executive to become an integral part of our dynamic team in the FMCG wholesale industry. The ideal candidate should possess a robust accounting background, exceptional communication skills, and a proactive approach to effectively manage accounts receivables
Responsibilities:
- Track payments and perform account reconciliations.
- Monitor customer credit limits and terms.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable.
- Prepare monthly statements for customers.
- Communicate with customers and vendors regarding billing and payment issues.
- Implement and maintain an effective collections strategy to minimize overdue accounts.
- Apply received cheques and receipts promptly and accurately to outstanding invoices.
- Record and allocate payments in the accounting system.
- Notify concerned salespersons of any payment delays from customers.
- Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable aging and key performance indicators.
- Build and nurture positive relationships with customers.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to accounts receivables.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in accounts receivable functions.
- Handle customer creation and documentation with verification.
- Support salespersons in approving credit customer documentations.
- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivables Executive or in a similar role within the FMCG wholesale industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
