Future International Nursery is providing quality education and fostering a supportive learning environment. We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Officer to manage our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
Budgeting
Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget, providing regular reports on budget performance. Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management and regulatory compliance.
Audit Support
Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial transactions.
Compliance
Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and educational regulations.
Communication
Collaborate with other departments to address financial inquiries and provide support for budget-related matters.
Data Management
Utilize accounting software to maintain and update financial records and ensure data integrity. Payroll Processing: Support payroll functions, including verification of employee hours and processing payroll-related transactions. Training: Provide guidance to staff on financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Proven experience in accounting, preferably within the educational sector. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Sage) and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
