Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
Liaise with other functions, to ensure the proper focus on EHS within a global managerial approach: HR (trainings, skills assessments, recognition & sanction), projects (induction), quality & test (risks assessments, management systems), production (risks assessments & method statements, machine conformity, investments), facility management (control of contractors & maintenance), sourcing (contractors qualification and development, suppliers conformity), ensure implementation of zero deviation program
Identify hazards for all high risks' activities, assess the risks and define control measures with site management
Support supervisors to communicate risk assessments and method statements down to the worker's level
Continuously monitor high risks activities and implementation of safety control measures
Define and organize entry of personnel, vehicles, plants and machineries by thorough scrutinization of their documents and issue of necessary PTW
Carry out EHS inspections and advise site management for improvement of safety health and environment
Exercise authority to suspend work, in case of deviations in high-risk activities rules, until corrective actions are taken
Control necessary PPEs are provided and worn
Ensure safety inductions for all new entry and safety training when required
Conduct periodical EHS coordination meetings with contractors and raise important issues to Unit management
Conduct internal audit for ISO 14001 & 45001
Report immediately and investigate all EHS events to a suitable level depending upon the severity or potential severity
Plan safety visits for TSV & MSV and follow-up observations
Investigate EHS events and implement lessons learnt
Manage permit to work process for all non-routine operation
Ensure all preventive measures against loss of materials and production through fire, explosion, theft, unsafe storage and unsafe transportation are in compliance
Regularly monitor and ensure implementation of local environmental regulations
Participate in chemical management and environmental protection program
Required Qualifications
Proficiency in office IT suite
C level H&S certificate is a must
Minimum 3 years' work experience in industrial field
Technical background (to understand the manufacturing activity)
Degree from at least 2 years Occupational Health and Safety vocational school
Capable of working in shift base (Working hours: 07:45-15:45 / 15:45-23:45 / 23:45-07:45)
