This role is responsible for defining and implementing Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processes and tools, continuously improving workflows, and ensuring effective team execution. Key duties include overseeing product development through collaboration on New Unique Difficult and Different (NUDD) and Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), managing APQP timelines and status, supporting First Article Inspections (FAI) and Part Control Plans (PCP), and driving the supplier Production Part Approval Process (PPAP). Success is measured by achieving a 0% defect rate, 95% on-time delivery, and seamless internal and external communication. The role involves up to 60% travel, supporting supplier evaluations, audits, and improvement plans, and maintaining APQP status in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, with weekly updates on progress. Define and Implement AQPQ Process\Tools

Team Management
Lead team to execute and improve product quality and delivery
Implement KPIs to ensure quality goals
Success in this position is measure by building an effective and motivated team, 0% defect rate (in field) and 95% On time delivery, and seamless communication\collaboration between internal teams
Product Development
Collaborate closely with the design team perform NUDD and DFMEA (Design failure mode and effect analysis)
Oversee Lessons Learned Knowledge Bases
Manufacturing\Quality
Creation and maintenance of AQPQ timeline and status(including PPAP activities)
Support First Article Inspections
Support Part Control Plans
Work closely with manufacturing partners to review processes, collaborate with them on process improvement and value enhancement opportunities
Drive supplier production part approval process (PPAP)
Perform root cause analysis and work with engineering and quality teams to implement robust solutions.
Data Management
Maintain AQPQ status & timeline in PLM systems
Send Weekly Report(s) Every Monday on AQPQ status
Supply Chain
Support supplier evaluations and audits as needed
Drive Supplier Improvement Plans
Provide supplier feedback continuous ensuring cross functional alignment on sourcing strategies
Travel:
Up to 60% international and domestic travel
Applicant Should Possess:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, business, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in supplier quality assurance or quality engineering experience, inclusive of APQP/PPAP
Continuous improvement and zero-defect mentality in sourcing and in supplier process review
Project management skills, including the ability to create project plans and track progress effectively.
Problem-solving abilities, with a track record of driving innovative solutions and resolving complex engineering challenges.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and communication across various teams and stakeholders.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality, ensuring that products meet or exceed industry standards.
