JR41314 SR A/T SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER （Controllers）
As an Engineer of Assembly & Test Supplier Quality Engineering team, you will enable best-in-class supplier quality performance by establishing and maintaining close healthy relationships with critical suppliers’ management teams and internal Micron stakeholders to meet the business needs of Micron. You will be responsible for ensuring consistent management, deployment of quality requirements, supplier quality governance processes for the supplier base, and drive critical suppliers’ continuous improvement programs.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Supplier Quality Management:

Enable supplier quality excellence by ensuring that Suppliers:
- Consistently deliver the highest quality material to Micron.
- Meet the requirements of Micron Quality Management System (QMS), Standards, and other quality safeguard programs.
- Establish continuous improvement programs to improve process stability, adaptability, and margin.
- Implement a comprehensive in-line process control and monitoring approach to eliminate escape defects.
- Identify and mitigate supplier risk to ensure minimal risk to Micron.
- Serve as a material technical expert and provide consultation when needed.
- Collaborate with procurement and engineering to enable supplier capability and capacity.
- Develop strong connections with individuals both inside and outside of the organization.
- Champion and uphold efficient communication channels with all involved parties.
Desired experience:
- Technical expertise in Fab wafer yield improvement, firmware, Fab process and quality control knowledge, wafer probe testing, and wafer level reliability.
- Knowledge of controller CMOS wafer technology and packaged controller technology preferred.
- Background in ASIC-Application Specific Integrated Circuit is a plus.
- Experience in product engineering and device engineering preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including root cause analysis using data, electrical and physical analysis techniques.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize key responsibilities.
Desired qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Masters/Ph.D. in Engineering with related experience.
- Strong engineering background with familiarity in APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, 8D, SBL, and SYL. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Understanding of ISO 9001 requirements and IATF 16949 is encouraged.
- Strong work ethics and ability to adapt to different work environment is encouraged.
- Capable of domestic and international travel for supplier audits and visits (approximately 20%~30%).
- Ability to work off-hours due to time zone differences with flexible working hours and arrangements.
