RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate closely with foundry partners to develop and implement robust quality control processes and procedures, ensuring products meet or exceed customer requirements and industry standards.
- Manage and maintain foundry quality metrics, including yield, defect density and outgoing quality levels.
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues identified during the manufacturing process.
- Ensure product quality and reliability by collaborating with internal teams.
- Lead quality continuous improvement initiatives and implement proactive actions to reduce quality incidents and customer complaints.
- Support internal and external quality audits, driving timely and effective resolution of any findings.
- Monitor supplier KPIs performance and drive continuous improvements.
- Conduct regular visits, audits and support customer activities related to foundry.
- Collaborate with technical teams to define quality requirements and ensure foundry process capability fulfills the requirements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in foundry quality engineering, with a strong background in semiconductor manufacturing.
- In-depth knowledge of quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, and Problem-solving methods.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 9000/IATF 16949 /VDA; automotive experience and exposure are advantageous. Lead Auditor certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese, providing a quality interface at any level.
- Proactiveness, responsiveness, ability to drive change, and team-oriented.
- Willingness to travel within the Asia region (approximately 10% travel)
