The Global Supply Leader will play a critical role in facilitating seamless communication between our Asia offices and HQ, while also overseeing essential people and facilities management. Responsibilities:
Process Development
Define and Implement Process\Tools for communication between Planning, Product Development and Global Supply Manager
Continuous Improvement on process.
Team Management
Lead team to execute and improve delivery
Implement KPIs to ensure delivery goals
Success in this position is measure by building an effective and motivated team, 95% On time delivery, and seamless communication\collaboration between internal teams
Supply Chain
Ensure on time delivery of products, including samples
Negotiate with suppliers to assure alignment on the product, capacity, terms, and shipping time
Consistently exceed delivery expectations, on time and within budget
Work with suppliers closely to build and maintain the relationship and trust
Partner with the Demand Planning team to address supply capacity realities and develop countermeasures to address imbalances
Product Development
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand products and anticipate potential supply chain issues
Manufacturing\Quality
Work with Product, Quality and Engineering teams on the diagnosis and holding the supplier accountable when production issues are found.
Work with Suppliers to ensure NPI products are adhering to timelines and will ramp to meet production run rates
Work with Suppliers and uphold LTP policy and ensure vendor alignment with LTP strategy.
Work with Suppliers to ensure, where applicable, rework, replacement and warranty are product in a timely manner with limited to no impact on production
Data Management
Track and report on supplier fulfillment through key indicators, then drive strategies for vendor performance improvement
Send Weekly Report(s) Every Monday on delivery status
Travel:
Up to 25% international and domestic travel
Applicant Should Possess:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, Finance, or related field.
5 + years of experience in Supply Chain related function
Strong project management skills with a successful track record of product launches on time and within budget.
Excellent leadership, communication, and team collaboration abilities, both in English and Mandarin
Experience working with international cultures
Problem-solving abilities, with a track record of driving innovative solutions and resolving complex challenges.
Understanding of principles for intellectual property ownership and confidentiality
Exceptional problem-solving skills and a knack for identifying root causes of issues
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent organization and time management skills; able to balance and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, despite interruptions
Proficient in Excel
Knowledge of bicycle assembly, process, material, logistic and delivery flow
