Requirements

• A relevant professional qualification (B degree/First degree)
• At least 5- 8 years relevant experience
• A proven track record of Managerial experience
• A proven track record of experience in applying OD tools to

actively support navigating change, building and cultivating

a positive and inclusive work culture, and mobilising employee

engagement strategies

• A proven track record of aligning employees to the broader

strategic objectives of the department through embedding

company values to shape employees and leadership behaviour

• Public Services Sector experience will be an advantage
• A valid driver’s licence

Key Performance Areas

• Driving change management interventions for the department

and monitoring change impact

• Establishing and maintaining communication platforms

between employees and leadership as it relates to change

management, employee engagement, and organisational

culture transformation

• Supporting and enabling leadership effectiveness, and

conceptualising, customising, and implementing leadership

engagement strategies

• Aligning organisational culture to City Values and conducting

culture assessments, diagnoses, and drives

• Embedding recognition and reward as a strategy to drive for

high performance culture

• Proactively supporting employee wellness
• Building and maintaining effective and constructive relations

between internal stakeholders

• Researching and developing best practice organisational

behaviour and employee / leadership engagement programs

• Monitoring and reporting on organisational development

processes and programs

• Managing outcomes associated with the utilization,

empowerment, productivity, and performance of personnel
