Duties amongst others include: To prepare and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate practical laboratory sessions including student assistance. Maintenance of mammalian culture collections; assistance in general equipment and facilities operations; and safety procedures. Perform any other tasks or activities which fall within the general functioning of the School of Molecular and Cell Biology as determined by the Head of School.
Qualifications and experience: BSc Honours or M Tech in Biochemistry and/or Molecular Biology or equivalent qualification in an allied field. Demonstrable experience in biochemical, cell biological and molecular laboratories, prior experience in preparation of the relevant laboratory practical for large undergraduate classes, including cell/tissue culture, would be advantageous.
