Reserve/Conservation Manager
A Luxury Private Game Reserve is seeking an experienced Reserve Manager to lead our conservation and management team in maintaining and improving our 12,000 ha reserve. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in conservation management, infrastructure maintenance, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities:
Pay: R55 000,00 - R65 000,00 per month

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management of the reserve’s wildlife, including predator-prey dynamics, game capture, aerial censuses, and alien plant eradication.
- Maintain reserve infrastructure, including electrified fencing, roads, water reticulation, and waste management.
- Lead a team of staff, including performance management, training, and duty roster management.
- Liaise with government departments, neighboring reserves, and conservation organizations.
- Manage the reserve's budget, fleet, and procurement of equipment.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in reserve or conservation management.
- B-Tech or M-Tech in Nature Conservation (or equivalent qualification).
- Proven leadership and personnel management experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Arcview is an advantage.
- Experience dealing with multiple shareholders and attending AGMs is a bonus.

- Have you liaised with government environmental departments or represented a conservation organization?
- Are you willing to relocate to live and work full-time on a remote game reserve based in Bela Bela, Limpopo?
- Do you have experience managing budgets, fleet management, and procurement in a reserve or conservation setting?
- Have you worked with multiple stakeholders, such as shareholders, owners, or commercial operations in a reserve or conservation environment?
