Hotel General Manager - Luxury Property - Dullstroom
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel General Manager to join the team of a Luxury Hotel based in Dullstroom.

Oversee daily operations of the Hotel & Spa, managing the following departments:
- Front of House: Includes receptionists, assistant general manager, duty managers, and general assistants.
- Housekeeping: Includes head of housekeeping, housekeeping manager, and housekeeping staff.
- Gardens and Maintenance: Includes head of maintenance and gardens, maintenance assistants, and gardeners.
- The Spa: Includes spa receptionist and spa therapists.
- The successful candidate will report directly to the Hotel’s Managing Director.
- Experience: 3-5 years as a General Manager in a 5-star Hotel, Country Hotel, or Lodge. Highly experienced Assistant General Managers ready for advancement will also be considered.
- Education: A degree or diploma in tourism or hospitality is preferred.
- Salary: R25k – R35k per month, commensurate with experience.
- Benefits: Provident Fund, cell phone allowance, and daily staff meals.
- On-site accommodation is provided for the candidate, including a one-bedroom unit with bathroom, open-plan lounge, and small kitchen.
- Restrictions: No pets allowed. Wi-Fi/internet access provided.
- Exceptional guest relations skills
- Strong staff management capabilities, including rosters, discipline, and training
- Proficiency in food and beverage operations
- Expertise in designing and managing internal processes
- Solid financial skills, including stock takes and night audits
- Experience with property management software
