Large Hotel in Cape Town is looking for a Front Office Manager to manage the front office team to ensure that the highest of service standards are maintained throughout the guests’ stay.
Ensuring guest satisfaction in all aspects of the guest experience.
Duty management and guest liaison.
Maintaining front office standards and operating procedures.
Achievement of budgets and cost controls for the front office
Ensure the team have excellent knowledge of services offered on the property and within the area.
Training, development and leadership of the team
Maintain relationships between the front office team and other departments
Reconciliation of guest charges, deposits and commission
Completion of all necessary admin including guest feedback and month-end reports, weekly forecasts and day sheets.
Requirements:
Grade 12 and a Formal Qualification
At least 2 - 3 years experience within a large 4 / 5* Hotel
Background in customer service
Budgeting, procurement and cost control
Strong people management and coaching skills
Firm, fair and consistent approach to leadership
Strong hosting skills and comfortable engaging with guests
Excellent communication skills (team, management and guests)
Results and standards orientated
