Front Office Manager

Front Office Manager.
Ultra Luxury 5* Boutique Hotel Mooi River KZN.
Requirements:-
  • English – excellent English communication & written skills.
  • At least 3 – 5 years front desk experience in a 5 Star Hotel environment.
  • Knowledge of front desk procedures, reservations & financial transactions.
  • Previous experience with Hotel Management Software – Semper.
  • Ability to handle guest complaints professionally and be able to deal with them efficiently and calmly.
  • Strong time management, supervisory, leadership & management skills.
  • Customer service-oriented with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Prepared to work hospitality hours, and willing to work extended hours when required to do so.
Duties:-
  • Oversee all aspects of the Hotel's reception, including inquiries, reservations, guest payments, agents commission (STO Agreements), supervision & training of receptionists.
  • Ensure that all rates are set up correctly, charged correctly and checked regularly
  • Ensure effective communication between reception, housekeeping, food & beverage divisions
  • Ensure effective communication to coordinate guests’ arrivals, departures, special requests, maintenance issue reports
  • Manage the reservations and payment system ensuring accurate guest information, payments, and room allocations
  • Manage Debtors
  • Check and ensure that Day ends are correct
  • Maintaining Guest Data Base
  • Drafting Receptionists’ Monthly Roster
  • Hosting when requested to do so
  • Room checks when requested to do so (late arrivals and when Rooms Div Manager is off)
  • Reporting directly to the General Manager
