A well-established 4-star hotel in Johannesburg is seeking an Assistant Front Office Manager to join their team. This role requires a dynamic individual with excellent leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the daily management of front office operations, ensuring smooth check-ins, check-outs, and guest services.
Supervise and support the front desk team, ensuring high levels of professionalism and service.
Manage guest relations, addressing complaints and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with other departments to provide seamless service across the hotel.
Monitor and manage staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage during shifts.
Oversee the training and development of front office staff to enhance performance.
Assist with the preparation of reports on occupancy, revenue, and guest feedback.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
Requirements:
SA citizen.
Recent experience in front office management within a large volume 4/5* hotel.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with hotel management software (e.g., Opera or similar).
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
A passion for delivering outstanding guest service.
