Fitter and Turner job vacancy in Bellville, Cape Town.
A well-established Manufacturing Engineering company is looking for a ‘’Senior Fitter & Turner’’ to join their team on a 6-Month Fixed Term Contract basis in the Northern Suburbs, Cape Town.
Very good salary on offer (subject to background and experiences) plus internal career advancement opportunities.
Position Requirements:
- Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
- Fitter and Turner Trade Test Certificate
- At least 2 years of experience as a qualified Fitter and Turner in a manufacturing setting
- Energetic, proactive, and capable of working under pressure
- Valid driver’s license with own reliable transportation
Position Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in Preventative Maintenance Routines
- Competence in Welding, Milling, and Turning
- Familiarity with Pneumatics and Hydraulics
- Experience with Gearboxes, Water Systems, and Cooling Towers
- Basic Electrical Skills
- Ability to perform Bearing and Shaft Changing
- Aptitude in Fault Finding and Diagnosis
- Knowledge of Lubrication techniques
