1. Purchasing and/or materials handling qualification or sufficient definite quantifiable experience with equivalent weighting.

5. Computer literacy and system literacy – Pastel, Excel, Word
6. Knowledge of the electronics component industry
7. High level of Integrity
8. Initiative and ability to deliver results without supervision
9. An eye for detail
10. Effective purchase planning to ensure raw material inventory availability when required for production requirements.
11. Effective purchase planning to ensure raw material inventory and stock levels are maintained at acceptable levels according to Company objectives.
12. Purchasing and expediting of raw materials according to requirements highlighted through planning processes
13. Purchasing of raw materials according to configured specifications
14. Conducting all purchasing related activities in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures
15. Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with external stakeholders to the Company’s benefit
16. Contribution to the Company’s profitability through ensuring competitive and cost-effective pricing on raw materials and other purchases.
17. Ensuring all purchasing related activities conducted by other internal stakeholders is conducted in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
18. Maintaining and where possible improving quality in all areas associated with this role.
19. Developing and improving systems and tools to enhance the purchasing role within the Company.
20. Any other applicable responsibilities which may arise and are not listed above.
21. Raising of supplier approvals for all new suppliers
22. Control of deviations for the use of alternative components
23. Supplier evaluation process
24. Raise purchase orders on behalf of the Company for normal operating activities
25. Negotiate and liaise on behalf of the Company on raw materials and associated activities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From R15 000,00 per month
