Candidate must be a CA (SA) or eligible to register as CA (SA). Candidate must have minimum of 2 years experience in an Audit Supervisor role. Job Responsibilities entail but not limited to:
Preliminary budgeting and drafting budget for the audit client.
Completion of all preliminary engagement activities.
Completing audit fieldwork along with working programmes and working papers.
Completing all relevant reconciliations where necessary.
Preparing completed audit file for manager review.
Finalising the audit and submitting for partner review.
Drafting of financial statements using Case Ware.
Daily planning and review of all work in progress.
Forward planning in terms of timeframes and budgets in relation to all future engagements.
Completion of Independent Review Engagements.
Completion of Compilation Engagements.
Preparing and processing VAT returns, analysing variances and calculating accruals and prepayments.
Statutory audits, independent reviews, and internal audits functions.
Preparation of Annual Financial Statements.
Preparation of Management Accounts.
Providing assurance at year end by observing stock takes and ensuring internal controls are in place.
Ensuring internal controls of entities comply with international auditing standards.
Ensuring entities comply with the Companies Act and relevant legislation.
Assessment of risks within each entity (detection risks, control risks and inherent risks).
Managing audit teams as the senior auditor.
Act professionally and ethically at all times while performing your duties.
Work efficiently and effectively in a group environment and communicate with management.
