Job Description

The role requires the incumbent to take responsibility for rotational placement in the Consolidated Reporting role or into a Market Risk analyst role (rates, equities, forex, commodities etc.) in either SA and/or Africa.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
Type of Qualification: Post Graduate Degree
Field of Study: Mathematical Science, Mathematics of Finance, Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Mathematical Statistics, Quantitative Finance and Econometrics
Other Minimum Qualifications, Certifications or Professional Memberships: FRM or CFA

Experience Required
1-2 years experience and exposure on a graduate programme and experience in Market Risk or Global Markets or related functions would be beneficial. Good understanding of Market Risk as a control function including proficiency in market risk identification, measurement, analysis and reporting. Knowledge of Global Markets Derivative products, their valuations and the use of associated risk sensitivity measures to inform risk-based decisions. Basic coding and report building would be beneficial.
