Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Office Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and coordination between the design, planning, and construction teams for our water infrastructure and electromechanical projects. This role requires a strong mechanical engineering background, expertise in design review, and knowledge of electromechanical works.

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Office Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and coordination between the design, planning, and construction teams for our water infrastructure and electromechanical projects. This role requires a strong mechanical engineering background, expertise in design review, and knowledge of electromechanical works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify mechanical designs, drawings, and technical specifications for water and sewage infrastructure projects, including water stations and STP electromechanical works.
- Prepare technical documentation, shop drawings, and material submittals, ensuring alignment with project requirements and industry standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, and other engineers to ensure smooth execution of mechanical works.
- Oversee and monitor the procurement of mechanical materials, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines.
- Assist in resolving technical issues that arise during the construction phase, providing technical guidance and solutions.
- Participate in site visits to inspect mechanical installations and ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Support the preparation of as-built drawings and project documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
- Ensure all mechanical works comply with local regulations, health, and safety standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a mechanical engineer, preferably in the water infrastructure sector.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems for water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants (STP), and electromechanical works.
- Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, and other relevant design and drafting software.
- Strong understanding of project management processes, including procurement, documentation, and technical coordination.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and safety procedures.
