Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Office Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical design, reviewing technical documentation, and coordinating with project teams to ensure efficient execution of electromechanical works in water infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review electrical designs, drawings, and technical specifications for water and sewage infrastructure projects, including water treatment plants and STP electromechanical systems.
- Prepare technical documentation, shop drawings, and electrical material submittals in line with project specifications.
- Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and project management teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical works.
- Assist in the procurement of electrical equipment and materials, ensuring they meet project requirements and specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and solutions to resolve any electrical issues during the construction phase.
- Conduct site visits to monitor the installation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with design, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Prepare and finalize as-built drawings and ensure proper project documentation.
- Stay updated on industry standards, safety regulations, and new technologies related to electrical engineering and water infrastructure.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as an electrical engineer, preferably in the water infrastructure or construction sectors.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems for water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants, and other electromechanical installations.
- Proficiency in electrical design software such as Auto CAD, ETAP, and other relevant tools.
- Strong understanding of project management processes, procurement, and electrical works coordination.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of relevant local and international standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
