We are looking for a/an Estimation Engineer to join our CT_MTCS (Mass Transfer Components & Services) team in Saudi Arabia.
Purpose of the job:
Estimation Engineer will be responsible for pricing and estimation of potential opportunities within the TFS business function. Making sure that the quality and accuracy of the estimation within the business unit is correct with all things considered. Primarily they will be involved in the tendering department however will and provide support to other departments when required. Ensuring all aspects of technical & commercial rates, manhour norms, 3rd party costs, schedule implications and the like are considered and communicated within the department to colleagues and line manager. Understanding the technicalities and risk of the type of works TFS performs inclusive of HSE & Quality standards. Making sure everything formally submitted to stakeholders are correct and of the highest quality standards complying to Sulzer Chemtech processes and procedures.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Enquiry / RFQ Review and compilation of technical clarifications.
- Prepare cost estimate (This involves both distribution and information gathering / Coordination with MTCS team, Sales team, OPS & other departments).
- Involvement with 3rd parties, such as vendors and subcontractors.
- Assistance with providing information and data for RA process.
- Addressing Post bid technical clarifications.
- Involvement in providing details and documents for handover of project to PMO, Finance & other departments.
- On occasion, assisting PMO, operations during execution & additional variation/claims settlement.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Commercial/Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience as an Estimation Engineer in international industrial manufacturing companies.
- Proficient in proposals, estimation, and work-winning functions.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Soft skills: Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Capable of working independently and managing time effectively while also being a collaborative team member. A positive and proactive attitude is essential.
