Job Purpose:
To assure assigned site Process engineering and Safety Performance is in line with operation management system (OMS) requirements, local regulations and applicable industry standards. This includes Site verifications and physical audits to process safety management system (PSM) compliance and process engineering performance such as critical process parameters, trouble shooting and adopting best practice.

Job Purpose:
To assure assigned site Process engineering and Safety Performance is in line with operation management system (OMS) requirements, local regulations and applicable industry standards. This includes Site verifications and physical audits to process safety management system (PSM) compliance and process engineering performance such as critical process parameters, trouble shooting and adopting best practice.
Key Accountabilities:
- Audit and Verify Terminal Operation areas to ensure compliance to Process Safety foundation rules and LSR.
- Serve as technical expert for terminal operation technical support in the fields of process troubleshooting, operation efficiency, product quality and increasing capacity factor.
- Define or provide guidance for any Preventive maintenance guidance or facilities repair such as chemical compatibility and chemical cleaning.
- Verify and assure Process Safety KPI 's are correct by field verifications.
- Participate in Risk assessment studies and perform field verification on SAFER interim and Mitigation actions implementation and report any deviations observed to respective Process Safety Engineers.
- Serve as technical expert for terminal operation technical support in the fields of regular audits to assure effective implementation of Safe Operating Envelope (SOE) and verify reported data.
- Participate in PHA studies, perform field verification on PHA recommendations, and report any deviations observed to respective Process Safety Engineers.
- Participate in management of change committees and Perform field verification on MOC implementation and report any deviations observed to respective Process Safety Engineers
- Participate in PSSR walkthroughs and perform field verification on PSSR implementation and report any deviations observed to respective Process Safety Engineers.
- Provide technical support and propose innovative solutions to solve Maintenance and operational challenges.
- Manage and maintain automation network firewalls between the
- Update equipment documentation as and when necessary.
- Participate in SABTANK Process Safety initiatives including (Annual Process safety Campaigns, awareness programs, Process Safety Walkthroughs, etc.)
- Execute other special tasks assigned by line manager, as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering.
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in similar position in Process, Fertilizer, Petrochemical Industry or Refinery preferably in terminal operation.
Job Specific Skills:
- High knowledge in petrochemical terminal operation.
- Expert on marine vapor combustion unit.
- Expert on marine loading arm operation and troubleshooting.
