About the project

Pentalog's Internal Security Department is looking for a SOC Analyst to join its Internal Operational Security Service with the aim of maintaining and improving the company's security posture.
As a member of the department and under the responsibility of the group's Chief Security Officer, you will work with people from different areas to ensure the security of Pentalog Group's users and infrastructure.

Job requirements

Between 2 and 4 years of experience in a similar position;
Understanding of security attacks and ability to detect and investigate at each stage;
Good experience in an Incident Response or similar team;
Conceptual knowledge in different areas of computer security:
- Incident Response;
- Security engineering;
- Encryption concepts;
- Threat modeling/risk assessments;
- Threat hunting;
- Security hardening;
Knowledge about common security frameworks such as MITRE, PICERL etc.;
Experience in using and configuring various security tools: SIEM, EDR, WAF etc.;
A creative mentality in recognizing various security needs;
Ability to clearly communicate proposed improvements to various stakeholders;
Experience in documenting technical concepts, proposing procedures, and following established policies;
Experience analyzing security incidents and performing various forensic tasks;
A strong desire to learn and continually develop skills within the team;
Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

Provide support to other Group entities for SOC;
Develop and maintain security-related tools, automations, and integrations;
Ensure consistent delivery of service by working with our internal teams;
Continuously improve documentation of policies and procedures.

Extra skills

Experienced with Azure cloud environments and their products;
Basic programming and scripting skills;
Professional security certifications (e.g., Security+, GCIH, etc.).
