As an internationally active IT specialist, we are therefore looking for you as an Expert Test Automation Engineer (m/f/d) for our location in Brasov. Of course, you can also work remotely, e.g., in a home office. You will be part of a 80-person QA team, which ensures high quality for our diverse projects and products at 9 locations in 4 countries. We are all united by the passion to make our software even better day by day and thus inspire our customers. Close cooperation within the agile development teams is just as much a given for us, as the use of modern technologies in test automation.

Tasks

• The Expert Test Automation Engineer will be expected to attend regular meetings with other QA team members or stakeholders.
• General tasks include working on automating tests in coordination with test designers (manual testers).
• Besides the work performed on automation tasks, the Senior/Expert Automation Engineer is also expected to contribute in the ONE QA project board. The challenge: ”ONE QA” is an internal Arvato Systems concept under which all members of the QA teams are reunited. The goal is to share knowledge via various workshops, bootcamps, technical presentations etc. But most importantly, for an Expert Automation Engineer, a contribution to the improvement of our QA is expected (from applying best practices across all projects to deciding on the tools to be used).

Your profile:

• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java.
• Experience with automation testing tools/frameworks like Robot Framework.
• Proficiency in automation testing tools/libraries such as Selenium and Playwright.
• Knowledge of standard interfaces including HTML, SOAP, and REST.
• Familiarity with development tools such as Visual Studio Code.
• Experience with CI/CD systems like Azure Dev Ops/Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, or similar.
• Proficiency in version control systems like GIT.
