This job is responsible for developing, implementing and executing Sub Category/Commodity Strategies on complex subjects with a relevant spend in a mainly regional environment.
It is repsonsible for all related purchasing tasks and of achieving its performance targets. Within the defined area it is using global processes, standards and tools and drives the improvement of these to ensure success of the related organization.
Develops, aligns and executes Sub-Category Strategy in a mainly regional environment with complex tasks and relevant spent
Handles responsibly all relevant purchasing processes (e.g. panel definition, pricing analysis, negotiation and contracting, sourcing committee, escalation) including alignment with relevant stakeholders
Ensures achievement of targets
Ensures usage of processes, tools and methods (e.g. SC, SDM, CBD) and drive continuous improvement of these
Handles trainings, knowledge and know-how transfer
Manage and develop cooperation with internal stakeholders with regions, functions and business units
Competencies:
Formal Education: University degree Business/technical studies
Work Experience: ~5 years
Leadership Experience: Not required
Foreign Language: English
Very good understanding of technical and business affairs
Strong affinity to financials/numbers, strong negotiation skills, communication skills, confident appearance
Strong negotiation and contracting skills
Knowledge in relation to dedicated tasks (Sub-Categories)
Strong cost awareness, good communication and intercultural skills and assertiveness
