About the role
You serve as a trusted commercial contracts expert within the company, providing guidance and support on a wide range of legal matters. You work closely with senior management, department heads, and external stakeholders to draft and negotiate commercial contracts, manage risks, and support the company's objectives.
About you
- Minimum 10 years of experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, with demonstrable knowledge in international commercial contract arrangements
- Significant experience as a commercial contracts manager within a corporate environment.
- Law degree or educational background as a lawyer (preferable).
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and provide practical solutions to complex legal issues.
- Significant experience in directly negotiating international commercial contracts.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of any sensitive information.
- A team player and having the ability to work collaboratively.
- Professional level in English is mandatory.
- Analytical thinking, discipline, results-oriented
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of the company's objectives and operations.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting a culture of integrity within the organization.
About your responsibilities
- Lead contract negotiations with partners, customers, and suppliers.
- Identify legal risks and vulnerabilities across the organization and develop strategies to mitigate or minimize them.
- Guide risk management strategies, including insurance coverage, indemnification clauses, and dispute resolution mechanisms.
- Maintain an active communication channel and respect Group policies, follow Group Legal guidance, and requested Group Legal approval whenever required.
- Work independently on complex legal projects.
- Collaborate with other departments to address the legal implications of business decisions and initiatives.
- Foster a culture of legal compliance and ethics throughout the organization.
- Coordinate the legal department.
- Implement Group Legal Compliance policies and assist other departments in implementing it.
