CORPORATE FINANCE & CONTROLS
Primary purpose of job
1. Develop and implement strategic solutions for Qatar Energy’s corporate insurance program encompassing construction
and operational insurances, to optimize coverage corresponding to business risks.
2. Offer expert risk management counsel to various stakeholders across the organization, addressing risks associated with
our business operations, including providing risk and insurance advice on contracts, capital projects, acquisitions, and
divestments.
3. Proactively manage insurance claims on behalf of the company to secure the best possible settlement.
Experience & Skills
Professional Experience:
a. A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in energy insurance.
b. Proven experience in placing operational and construction insurance programs for oil & gas operators in international
insurance and reinsurance markets.
c. Experience working on insurance programs that span multiple countries and extensive knowledge of insurance
regulations across multiple jurisdictions.

Education
a. A bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or Law.
b. Professional qualifications in insurance obtained from the Chartered Insurance Institute (minimum at Diploma level) or
equivalent.
c. A commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest trends and developments in
the insurance market.
