Your Opportunity
Stantec’s Management Consulting Group in the Middle East is looking for a result oriented and dynamic and results-driven Senior Program and Data Analyst to work closely with our client in a transformation journey for their Operation and Maintenance Departments with a specific focus on analyzing and interpreting complex data sets .
Your Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Stantec Team in delivering transformational work as part of our Management Consulting Group in Qatar, supporting and advising our client in the development of various programs and services from inception to implementation. The candidate for this position will be working from our client’s office, which is a client-facing position to provide management consulting services to our client. Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• \t Determining program requirements and making recommendations.

• \t Analyzing programs, policies, procedures, and systems and making recommendations to optimize these.

• \t Drafting new or revised policies and procedures.

• \t Assisting program managers with the development of budgets and schedules as well as tracking metrics.

• \t Assessing and advising on potential issues related to costs, schedules, and performance.

• \t Advising program managers with regard to planning, testing, and implementing new programs or systems.

• \t Identifying and resolving issues and problems.

• \t Planning, analyzing, and evaluating the effectiveness of operations and programs.

• \t Preparing and presenting reports and recommendations.

• \t Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

• \t Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports

• \t Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, that optimize efficiency and quality

• \t Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources to update and maintain databases

• \t Collaborate with stakeholders and understand the requirements to develop key performance indicators and translate it into formulas in MS Excel

• \t Develop MS Excel based tools to improve workflow

• \t Filter and clean data by reviewing reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct problems

• \t Work with management to prioritize business information needs

• \t Generate financial models for Spend/ Revenue/Savings Forecasting

• \t Produce presentations, circulars, and other marketing material to promote achievements of the business

• \t Provide guidance and coach team members in data analytics

• \t Present and convince stakeholders of the analysis conducted

• \t Create project schedules and update them

• \t Create proposals for data analysis improvements

Qualifications:
Your Qualifications and Credentials

• \t Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field (from a Western Country would be preferred)

• \t15+ years of experience as a Program Analyst, Management Analyst, or in a similar role.

• \t Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills.

• \t Strong organizational and time management skills.

• \t Advanced computer skills and knowledge of multiple databases and software systems.

• \t Ability to collect and analyze complex sets of data.

• \t Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• \t Strong project management skills.

Your Key Experience

• \t Analyzing large data sets

• \t Creating reports in MS Excel and presenting them to stakeholders (Mandatory)

• \t Coding in visual basic to create and amend MACROS (Mandatory)

• \t Use of any other programming languages such as Python or R will be advantageous

• \t Advance user of Microsoft Office software Suite

• \t Capturing and amending process flow diagrams

• \t Creating workflow automation

• \t Generating insights with visual representation

• \t Developed dashboards using various tools (either Power Bi, Tableau etc)

• \t Use of statistics and statistical analysis tools

• \t Automating routine data analysis functions

• \t Use of Microsoft Share Point and creating Info Path forms

• \t Experience in neural networks or machine learning will be advantageous
