MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN
v To carry out Maintenance Mechanical jobs (Preventive, Corrective & Trouble Shoot) for Garage Equipment’s Listed below (Overhead cranes and chain hoists) according to schedule in SAP system.
v To carry out trouble shooting for reported problems perform rectifications.
v To assist third party to carry out load test periodically based on recommendation all lifting Equipment.
v To arrange own standard hand tools required to perform task.
v To ensure that tools and equipment are in safe and effective working conditions. Keep safety requirements to be maintained in accordance with company regulations and safety standards.
v To check work quality, takes corrective action to rectify any detected faults through the work examination methods and standards.
v To perform other similar or related duties such as maintaining good housekeeping in work sites and in workshops and ensuring safety regulations are adhered to according to company policy.
Qualification & Experience:
v 3 year’s Diploma of associate Engineer in Mechanical after secondary school.
v Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance related to mechanical maintenance of lifting equipment.
v Should be able to read and comprehend Technical manuals and drawing.
v Should be able to use all related tools in his field.
Should be able to communicate (speak and write) in English language.
v Should be intelligent, creative and hard working.
v Should be aware of proper maintenance techniques.
v Should be holder of valid QATARI driving license.
