Location: Remote
Responsibilities:
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to deal with all types of customer service requests related to IT.
- Ability to effectively interact with a diverse user base
- Learn the following infrastructure support components
- PPG standard hardware, tools & utilities
- Server operating systems, tools & utilities
- IT networks and voice services
- IT security and Disaster recovery
- Process control and monitoring
- Develop effective troubleshooting skills
- Good technical knowledge and ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to the business
- Networks with other PPG Analysts to understand how IT solutions are deployed in other areas to solve business problems.
Requirements:
- A four year degree or higher in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, a related discipline or equivalent experience is desired.
- 1-2 years of IT customer service or a related discipline experience.
- Analytical and conceptual skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Must have a strong systems and process orientation
- Must be comfortable working remotely and lack of face to face time with colleagues and managers
