General Ledger Accountant
In this role, you will be responsible for managing all intercompany accounting activities for a portfolio of NOV ledgers. Working to tight deadlines, you will ensure accurate and timely processing of intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and reporting to maintain strong financial controls in line with NOV and SOX requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all intercompany accounting entries for your assigned ledgers, ensuring they are prepared accurately and in line with corporate deadlines
- Oversee the intercompany close process, ensuring all intercompany entries are booked and out-of-balance positions are resolved
- Provide oversight of intercompany purchase price variance analysis and markup, intercompany goods in transit, intercompany unvouched receipts, and expense allocation entries
- Oversee the intercompany recharge process
- Initiate settlements or wire payments with intercompany partners, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and coordinating with the local Treasury team
- Assist with cash forecasting in relation to intercompany payments
- Ensure Accounting Controls SOX compliance in the areas of balance sheet reconciliations and sub-ledger aging, to the extent they relate to intercompany accounts
- Assist with the preparation of deliverables required for quarterly financial review meetings
- Support and assist during internal and external audits and other information requests
- Execute various ad-hoc financial analyses and tasks as required
- Ensure that internal checking and approvals procedures are adhered to
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Previous experience in general ledger accounting
- Strong understanding financial reporting standards
- Proficient in using ERP systems, preferably JDE, and Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate financial information effectively
