Scope and Functions of Tour Operator - El Nido, Coron Expedition
As a Tour Operator - El Nido, Coron Expedition, is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing island expeditions along the scenic El Nido, Linapacan and Coron route. This role involves creating unique and exciting island experiences, understanding of the local culture, ensuring guest safety and satisfaction, and managing all logistical aspects of the tours. The Tour Operator will provide exceptional service and ensure that all expeditions are well-coordinated and enjoyable, meet customer satisfaction, and could work in remote and sometimes challenging environments.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and develop unique itineraries for the El Nido, Linapacan, and Coron route, focusing on eco-tourism and cultural experiences.
• Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Handle reservations through various channels, including phone, email, and online booking systems.
• Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and processing correspondence.
• Coordinate logistics including transportation, accommodation, permits, equipment rental, guide services and meals for tour groups.
• Establish and maintain relationships with local guides, boat operators, hotels, and other service providers.
• Ensure a high standard of customer service is maintained throughout the tour.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns or special requests.
• Conduct pre-tour briefings and post-tour evaluations to gather feedback and improve future experiences.
• Ensure all tours comply with local laws and regulations, including safety standards.
• Conduct regular risk assessments of routes and activities.
• Provide safety briefings to tour participants and ensure all necessary safety equipment is available and in good condition.
• Collaborate with the marketing and operations team to promote tours and create engaging content for social media and other platforms.
• Assist in developing pricing strategies and promotional offers.
• Track and report on sales performance and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Prepare budgets and manage expenses for each expedition.
• Negotiate contracts with service providers to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Monitor and report on financial performance, including profit margins and cost control.
• Works together with Purchasing Staff.
• Direct reporting to the Tour Operations Manager.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php14,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
