· Operate the truck scale.
· Ensure trucks to be weighed correspond to the submitted documents.
· Ensure accuracy of the weights by removing unnecessary items in the truck
· Determine the net weight by comparing the gross and the tare weight of the truck
· Check the accuracy of the number of bags of finished goods loaded on the trucks by comparing the actual net weight with the estimated net weight of the products.
· Initiate verification activities in cases of discrepancy between count and weight
· Check truck’s compliance with the anti-overloading regulation.
· Conduct visual inspection of truck condition as it enters the ramp. Instruct drivers to clean trucks that were found to be nonconforming
· Implement standard specifically on cleanliness of trucks (Transport Standard) and personnel (GMP - Personal Hygiene)
· Follow dress code and proper grooming
· Report to superior any unusual observations on the trucks
· Report to superior any deliberate act of dishonesty or any act of sabotage by truck driver or helper.
· Accomplish appropriate forms.
· Check and maintain the periodic calibration of the truck scale.
