Position Summary:
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest
cabins, and common areas within the resort. This role aims to create an immaculate
and inviting atmosphere, ensuring guests have a luxurious and comfortable stay.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Guest Cabin Cleaning:
- Clean and tidy guest accommodations daily, including making beds, changing linens,
dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Replace used towels, toiletries, and other amenities.
- Ensure cabins are properly stocked with essentials and that any damaged or missing
items are reported.
2. Common Area Maintenance:
- Maintain cleanliness in all common areas such as reception area, corridors, smoking
area, public restrooms and restaurant.
- Ensure that common areas are neat and tidy, removing any trash or debris.
3. Laundry Duties:
- Collect and launder used linens and towels.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store clean linens.
4. Inventory Management:
- Keep track of cleaning supplies and inform the supervisor when stock is low.
- Ensure proper use of cleaning supplies to avoid waste.
5. Guest Interaction:
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or services.
- Address any guest complaints or issues promptly and report them to the supervisor.
6. Provide turn-down service as required.
7. Safety and Sanitation:
- Adhere to resort policies and procedures regarding safety and sanitation.
- Use proper cleaning techniques and products to prevent damage to property and
ensure guest safety.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
8. Additional Duties:
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Resort Manager.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous housekeeping experience in a resort or hotel environment
preferred.
- Skills:
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
- Knowledge of luxury service standards.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items, such as linens and cleaning supplies.
- Stamina to stand, bend, and move around for extended periods.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced and physically demanding.
- Requires working on weekends, holidays, and possibly evenings.
Compensation:
- Hourly wage/salary commensurate with experience.

Pay: From Php14,000.00 per month
